Good news. I added a second fermentation kit to my 55 gallon. Recall that I am coming off a move and await my plants coming back full force. So, I went ahead with another glosso attempt. It's been weeks, and I have done the necessary replanting of my floating glosso, just like last time. After the move, I upgraded my substrate by adding eco complete to my gravel. I dose Seachem products regularly. Today...instead of the little patches of glosso I typically see, I saw one growing horizontally, with a root extending well beyond it's orignal placement. They are branching out, so I assume I'll get a cover within a few months. Am I on the right track?
