so my commonlaw husband and I broke up. And he decided he ws going to move in with his mom and I moved to Kamloops BC problem was that the landlord of the house said we had till the 15th to get out
so I hired a mover to go down to Vernon BC with me to get my tanks and kids bed ect . Well the two of them loaded everything up and there was NO room for the tank so the ex hubby PROMISED me that he would get the tanks. Well he called me on the 15th to tell me there was NO way for him to get the tanks out so guess what I LOST THEM...... yep thats right both of them my 110 gall and my 1000 gal and all the fish in them
I am alittle mad about that

Ouch! I'd be a bit mad too. Sorry to hear that. Maybe you could contact the landlord to see if he would let you move the tanks?

oh my goodness!!!!, your right to be mad, maybe offer the landlord storage costs and give him a positive date for you to collect them,i would go to your local legal advice office, and see where you stand, that is a lot to loose, try crying!!!that may work lol,
seriously i wish you all the luck in the world
shelagh xxxxxx

but definatley take action very very soon!!!!!!

Oh no, that is just terrible. You must be mortified. You must be feeling sick. I'm so sorry you have to go threw this. That is one massive tank you lost. What kind of fish did you have in there?

rays and sharks mainly ... I was planning on converting the 112 gal to a salt tank

:shout: OUCH!
Landlord probably wants to rent out ASAP but I would think that it would be hard to get rid of the fish & tanks so fast. If you think he might kill the fish maybe you could get the SPCA involved somehow. Did you have a lease with him..? and did you get along with the guy, maybe work something out?
