you better get used to that, in a way thats why i always liked them, you only see them every now and again, get a couple more to see one more often i think they are great little fish, my lfs stopped selling them because they were to difficult to catch

if it's just the one in there, you should get a few more - they're very sociable loaches, and will play out in the open if you have a bunch

i have 1 but i know hes alive because i know where he lives. he never comes out and idk how or what he eats lol
