So I just got my first female Betta today. She's coloured up since I got her so that's good. But she's just been hanging about one side of the tank hiding away really.

I noticed she had ventured to the side opposite the filter and was struggling against the current. She was swimming forward hard then stopping and going back then trying again. I changed the current and now she's up and around swimming everywhere!!!

She's had no problems at all with the Platys either. They are all swimming around no problems

Oh yes she's out and about swimming everywhere now. She's so pretty, I just wish I could have loads more in all different colours and tails.

Pictures?

I'll take some tomorrow and put them on here. She looks even more stunning now. I have pink gravel and she's kinda purple/blue against it.

I just wish I had known about these bafore I got my platys I would have had a sorority lol. Oh well I'll stick with her for now. I'd be too worried she'd get hurt anyway.

Nice to hear she has come out of her shell with the softer flow :) They like nice soft flowing water anyway :)

Look forward too the pics :) :good:
