So ive posted a few times in recent months about my guppy adults & the fry.
We had a little over 250 fry in a few months, I gave lots & lots away after a few weeks of growing out & took some to my pal in the LFS
I kept back a few nicer coloured ones for myself to breed with.
Anyway the fry are now over 3 months old & having their own fry. So hopefully the colouring will be really great. Not sure of the success rate as the females may be a bit young yet

It's preferable to let female livebearers reach at least 6 months of age before breeding them. This allows them time to mature and they are less likely to die during their first labour.

Thanks, i was thinking they were a llitle young yet. Think a pal of mine is taking 4 of the 6 females for his little girls tank.
So that might be problem solved ?, they are a pain when they all start having fry. It amazed me how fast they get out of control
