It can feel like that. Ultimately, it can be very relaxing. There are times when I just sit and stare at the tank. Then there are other times. The same goes for any hobby though that I can think of. There is always some project that will cause some stress. But, fish will relieve stress. You're still in the early stages, I believe. Once the tank settles in, and you settle in to a routine, it will be far more relaxing. :good:
 
I've had them a few months so yes, early stages. It feels like I've been through the steepest learning curve ever in the last few months and I'm starting to get my confidence now.
I'm just glad this place is here for that double check on what I'm about to do
 
Things will settle in around 6 months. Stay on top of your maintenance and you can enjoy the tank for a long time with low stress levels.
 
Thanks, I've just re-checked the water and the PH has come up to nearer 7, there's no trace of ammonia or nitrite so I'm going to leave that water change this evening and see how things look in the morning. Thanks for your help :)
