Well, to our surprise, theres a baby fish in the tank!!

I am not sure what it is at the moment, too small to tell but it is black in colour and I think it maybe a molly.

What do I do? the small one is swimming at the top of the tank.

Do I do a water change as I was planning on doing a second change mid week?

all advice appreciated.

Quick edit, theres around 5/6!

The filter has slowed down so I took the filter out and there was well what I believe to be a feotus of somesort attached to the filter and sadly this did not make it.

hi congrats on the fry

well id catch them and put them in a breeding trap or net if you want to keep them
or you could let them take there chances in the tank but the other fish will eat them if there is not any hideing places

i would still do ure water changes

good luck with the fry :good:

hi, if you wish to keep all of them then invest in a breeding trap. Or get some real/artificial dense plants for them to hide in untill dark or large enough not to be eaten.

If you don't then just leave them and let nature take it's course. One or two will inevitably survive and make a nice addition to your stock.
