Friday morning, I saw two of my tiger barbs flashing, or rubbing against the sand and gravel. I had to leave town, and just got back, and I still am seeing this occasionally. I am seeing no other signs of illness in the tank, the fish, including the ones who are flashing, are active and ate. Should I be worried? This was also right after I changed from sand to gravel, and I know the fish looked stressed when I put them back in the tank - very pale. I did add some salt, and their color is back to normal now. I have a feeling I am being paranoid, but would rather be safe. Thanks!

EDIT: I just spent the last 15 minutes observing my fish, and I saw a few other things that I hadn't noticed before. The first is I saw some white stringy poop coming out of one fish. The second is the some of the black areas on the tiger barbs isn't black, its looks like a combo of black/green/gold. I don't think this is lighting because I see it on some fish and don't see it on others. I also do feed my fish frozen blood worms as a treat.
