Itch again

Noticed a few small speaks on some of my fish tonight and the clowns have been flicking and rubbing them selfs aganst rocks. Have upped the temp and started a the treatment (still got plenty from last time)
Iam wondering why it has come back again, I think its probably down to the stress of the tank change any ideas
Just wondering if I should remove the carbon sponge while treating? the old tank didnt have one in it.

I was told YES to absolutely take the carbon out just before adding the meds. If you left it in then most of the meds are probably gone by now and aren't doing any good. But, if you've done this already, I'd wait and ask a moderator whether or not you should redose so soon because of the carbon taking it out.
