it was terrible what I saw today!!!!

I went to a Garden center today and I was looking around and I looked in a fish tank and there was a beautiful red betta there but when I looked I saw that his head was stuck in between two rocks and it had died like that it must of been going through so much pain, it must of drowned because Betta's have to come up to the surface for Air dont they?
it was a real shame he was a lovly Betta

Awwww that's so sad. At least the last Betta I saw for sale in a flower shop in a bowl with a plant atop it did NOT say don't feed the fish it'll live off the roots! This one had a detailed letter about how to care for the Betta. Maybe people are learning after all. Can't believe they didn't see that deceased Betta and remove it. Ewwwww. Poor guy.

Do you have any Betta's, if you have how many do you have. I have 8 of my own Betta's and there no probs to handle and take care of, I love them, I think there beautiful.
