Ista Co2 Diffuser Not Micro Bubbling

Hey guys I just got a ista co2 diffuser do hook up to my air pump just because I think the micro bubbler effect is more aesthetically pleasing. However it's not micro bubbling, instead it's blowing out gargantuan sized bubbles, and I have a small tetra air pump. Just wondering what I might be able to do to get it bubble correctly?

Too much pressure I'd say, can it be adjusted?

I guess if I got some kind of diverted valve? Do you think that would work?

Or grab an air pump that's adjustable, prob be easier.
