This morning while doing my water change on my betta's 1 gallon, I realized that I never did ask if too much water conditioner is harmful to fish. The bottle I use says to add 1tsp for every 5 gallons. Well.. I don't know about you.. but I have no idea what 1/5 of 1 tsp is :S .. so I just squirt a bit in and off we go :*)

So? Any ideas?

Simple answer. It will not harm your fish. I guess we all have the same problem :) With some of the conditioners its a little easier where you can atleast count the drops.

I think thats fine.
I know you can dump a whole bottel of stress coat in your tank and everyone will be alright, but you can't with aqua safe, thats what I know.
I'm sure you dont have to be 100% aqurate, and even a little more and a little less would be just fine.
I know with my 55G, I never use the recomended amount of aqua safe.
It'd get to expansive for my little pocket... -_-

I use Stress Coat and rarely measure it. I just squirt some in. Threre is another thread that you can probably find with a search. SOmeone had contacted one of the manufacturers and they said that you COULD NOT overdose a tank. So don't worry too much about it.
