I bought 5 dwarf neon rainbow fish 2 weeks ago but made the mistake of putting them straight into my main tank as my smaller tank got broken.
They seemed fine at first but 1 week later one rainbow fish started hanging near the top of the water and rapid breathing he then got really bloated. I thought it was bacterial so I used a bacterial med but the fish died a couple of days later.
I carried on using the bacterial med to finish the course in case the other rainbow fish had the same problem as one had a red mark on his side, but then I noticed the new fish and some of the ones I have had for months started flicking of the plants and the cories are flicking their sides on the sand.
I have now noticed a few white spots on the fins of a few fish, mainly on the tail fin and the fins on the top of the body. All fish are eating and swimming around and are not acting ill.
Do you think this is white spot?
Thanks in advance for any replys.
