I am 15 and just got bought an Aqua mode 300, I would like to know if this size tank is big enough and how many fish could be put into it.

Many thanks.

Jake

Hi,

Can you tell us what size the tank is and what volume it holds?

Hey i think your tank is 5 gallons, if so there are not that many fish you can put in there. You could put a couple of shrimp and maybe some tetras.

you can keep a betta in one nicely... iv got one of theses =D iv had 5 minnows and 2 goldfish in it before (when i first started and was into cold water)

you could get away with 5 neons. although they like to school and wont have much swimming space in it...

your looking at about 5-8 smallish fish

but id put one really nice betta in there and like 3 shrimp? ... are you going to plant it?

Thanks. I'm only going to see if this hobby will work but by the looks of all these tanks on here i think i might stick to it! If i can't fit many in I'll probably save up for a new tank. What size would you recommend? (Gallons)

umm.. id recommend the biggest tank you can get. more water = more dilute solutions of whatever pollutants in the water, this means its easier to maintain a balance

for the 20L tank you should get a betta =D they look really nice.

here's my tank
