hi, i want to stick some java fern to my bogwood, but i'm not sure if the superglue i have is safe. it is called evo-stik, serious glue, fix and repair adhesive. i have read that it must be proper cyanocrylate to be safe, but it doesn't say on the packed. is it safe?

cheers :good:

just use fishing line or cotton much safer. and let it take on it own
i raped some java moss around a cave 2 weeks a go and not it growing on there

hi, i would use cotton, but the wood i want to attach it on is full of dips, so the cotton doesn't hold it on

cheers :good:

that's what i was thinking. any thoughts about the superglue though truck?

cheers :good:

so, shall i go for it, or should i go tomorrow and get some from wilkos? if it is even slightly possible that it could kill my fish, then i'm not going to risk it. it's just a bit annoying that i'll have a huge piece of bogwood in my room. (it smells a bit as well.

cheers :good:

thanks, i'll get some from wilkos tomorrow then. which one do you use?

cheers :good:

Evo Stick, the original had petro-chemicals in, mainly in the form of solvents etc etc

The latest incarnation is solvent-free but i wouldn't think of using either

Stick with superglue (most know what it was made for, if you didn't do a search you'll be surprised i bet)
