Can't comment on that skimmer as i have never used it, one thing i can say though is don't skimp on it.

I have used the tmc v2 range of skimmers and think they are very good for the price, also the deltec mce 300 and 600.

Here is a v2 600 at a good price http://www.ultimatereef.net/forums/showthread.php?t=400571

thanx for the reply, i wont be getting one yet, i am just wondering what is minimum requirments for skimmer would be for a 140ltr tank, i kno i said 180 in title but i have decided to use my spare tank instead of converting my tropical setup

Gernerally you want a skimmer rated for twice the size of the tank, so in your case around 400ltrs

yes, sorry should have said

Sorry i am no good when it comes to sumps, but it will have to be more than 400lph, your also going to have to check the maximum head of the pump (The height it can pump water too.)

I'm sure someone will have a better answer soon.

Consider buying second hand, but top quality, so yes the Deltec 600, rather than cheap and new, there are some good bargains to be had if you can take the time to look around :good:
