Is this some kind of algae

never saw this before and it’s in my new 60 gallon tank that just got cycled. No fish in it yet

I don't see algae it may juyst be dust so maybe wipe it off?to me from the picture it doesn't look like algae.

Do you mean the purple on your airline and suction cups? If yes is it anywhere else?

Not saying that it is BBA but Black beard algae can be red, purple or black.

I think they are talking about the plant below that, with the reddish leaves on top. It is plastic.
