Is This Size Tank Ok

Hello everyone, im fairly new to these boards so please be gentle.
I am an experienced tropical fish keeper but am looking into setting up
a cichlid tank,probably mbuna,and i have just purchased a fluval duo
deep 800 (second hand at a very good price). I would like to ask the
opinion of you experienced keepers if this tank is big enough for this
kind of setup?

until you have some idea we cannot tell if your tank is suitable...

I was really just looking for some advice as to whether this size tank would be suitable for a cichlid
setup of either Lake Malawi or Tanganyika fish,about 6-8 fish.

Thats about a 20 gal so too small for Mbuna. You could go for Tanganyikan shell-dwellers or a pair of Kribs so you still have some options.

I know their "just a little brown fish" but what they lack in costume they make up with in personality!!!

I dont have multi's, I have strappersii but my second choice would have been multi's.

Thanks for the good advice guys, its always best to ask the experts IMHO.
I will give the suggestions some thought and maybe buy a good book on the subject.

It is good to have books and stuff I agree, I bought 4 malawi books before I started and im still here asking questions lol
