Well i am gonig on vacation all next week and i have one molly fry. can it go a week without me? im probly bringing it to my friend house though to be fed and my community tank will probly be fine so im leaving it at home and they dont need to be fed for a week right?

Fry need feeding at LEAST 3-4 times a day. How old is the fry?

Also, i wouldnt personally leave my fish for a week without food. They are generally ok for a weekend, but not a full week.

Can your neighbour not feed them for you whilst your away>?

Hi,

If your tank is mature and a decent size with live plants the fish will be fine for up to 2 weeks, it's best to take the fry to your friends house as they need frquent feedings. Do a water change and feed a normal amount before you go.

I have Guppy and Sword fry, and I have let them go 2 days without food and they've been just fine... but I wouldn't let them go longer than that, its not worth the risk!
