Is This Right? Co2 Question

if i turn on my presurised co2, bubbles start emerging through the bubble counter. however the most i have had it on for is 5 mins just to test it.

however nothing seems to be emerging from the duffuser. is this right? will it take more then 5 mins for co2 to come out of the diffuser?

i have checked and there are no leaks

It might take a while, the bottom of it has to fill up with gas, how many bubbles per second was it?
I think soaking in 50% bleach 50 water for a little bit will clear it up, then rinse and put dechlor and fresh water and let is soak more. I do this to clear the green stuff that grows on the white part

pressure needs to build, it used to take about 30mins when i had a really low bubble count. I got worried too.
