Is This Ram Male?

Im pretty sure it is, i just would like someone expert opinion

It is kind of hard to see the front of the dorsal fin with the light coming through it, but it looks like the black rays are pretty long. Maybe it is a young male, but the fins seem a little too short to me to be a male.

I thought you could tell quite easily from the anal fin

i would say it was a male, as female tend to have a redish/pinkish underbody part.

Hi i would say its a female as male rams do not have blue specs on the black spot.

with the reddish tinge on the pelvic region, and the blue spangles on the spot, female i would say

Another vote for a female here. The anal fin is very short and round, whereas a male's would be longer and pointed. Same with the back end of the dorsal fin; it's very round, whereas a male's would be much longer and pointy.

I am conflicted between male and female but i would have to say female.

i would also say female but if you could get a better pic without the light coming right on her/him, we could tell if its belly is reddish pink like a female

I think I would have to vote for female, although the pink tint isn't very obvious, I agree that the fins don't quite look right for a male. One of my females previously went through a phase after moving tank of looking very pale, quite like this one
