My male guppy keeps trying to mate with my balloon female molly. Is it possible for her to have fry from him? I think I'm going to move him to a different tank though. He doesn't give up.

Wow, interesting. How many other mollies and guppies do you have in that tank?

Well, Here's the situation.

1.)Had 3 balloon mollies, 1 male 2 female with 2 female guppies and 1 male guppy(which is the nice one.) There is also 4 fry in the tank.(Guppy Fry)
2.)2 of the female guppies died and 1 female balloon molly died.(This never happened before)
3.)Had 1 other male guppy in my 55 gallon for a little while until I could get more guppies. But since the females died I moved him with the other fish in the 10 gallon.
4.)Now the one I just put in is trying to mate with the balloon molly more than the balloon molly male. But I'm about the put the male back in the 55 gallon.

Oh but here's the listing of inhabitants.
3 ghost shrimp
2 balloon mollies
1 male guppy

Just bought another female balloon molly. So that makes 3

I cross is very difficualt to get, if are male mollies there the she will reject and sperm from the guppy to use the molly.

Just cos u got then together dose not mean your get them to cross.

the possibility is low but if they do cross they will properly not survive for long maybe because the gene is weak

guppys are horny fish and like to mate with everything they see even swordtails they mate but mollies can i guess have babies with guppys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
gud luck!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
