Ok so this is what I want to get for my ten gallon: 4 long-finned zebra danios, 3 dwarf cories, and 3 ghost shrimp. Is this Ok?

As the OPs have said, for a 10 gallon you should be looking at a less active species than danios. You also need a bigger group of danios, to spread aggression. If you want schooling fish, good suggestions might involve small tetras (neons, glowlights, ember), small rasboras. A group of male endlers would look stunning. Or there are sparkling gouramis.

The pygmy cories would prob. like to be in a slightly bigger group...try to aim for 5. Compatibility wise the shrimp would be fine, and they produce a very low bioload anyway...I wouldn't bother counting such a small number of shrimp against your "total".

i would agree that the cories do need to be in groups. which would be kinda overloading your tank in terms of bioload i would say. btw love the avatar fish-aholic
