My convicts [girl and boy] have had babies. Now the are being aggressive toward each other [but not to the babies], is this normal?

Sometimes the pair can turn on each other, just one of those things that happens. Sometimes its due to the male being ready to mate again but the female isn't. What size tank are they in, and make sure the female (most likely the one to be bulled) has somewhere to escape to.

They are in a 29 and shw has lots of places to go. It seems they attack each other about the same.

Are you saying that eventually they will kill on another?

That is a good possibility if the pair has dissolved. Have a second tank handy to seperate the two if one gets beat up pretty good. Aggression is normal during the mating process but just make sure it doesn't get out of hand or else you will end up with one of them dead (most likely the female)

Ox :good:
