Is This Normal In Java Fern?

At the top of two of the leaves on one of my java ferns they are growing another leaf and roots coming from the top of the leaf, so it's like a leaf growing on top of another leaf, i can get a picture if you need but i was just interested to see if this is normal or not

Yes, that's how Java fern reproduces.

The plantlet will eventually break off, and you've got a new plant

can you kindly put a picture of the fern, please. I would like to add it to my fishy tank. 

ugh.....ugh.....how do i upload more pics for all to enjoy and view? I am still having a hard time figuring it out. Is there an easier way to do it? Thanks....I have lots of diff. kinds of fish with pictures. Some deceased and alive.
