I think its good for Penny to live in the group and be the Alfa female in it. She has been so busy keeping Hope and Chance in there place that she hasn't paid attention to Carmel one bit today. which is good because usually she wont STOP paying attention to Carmel. I think having her in a group is good for her.

Is she being aggressive with them? Since they're only in a 5 gallon you need to keep a close eye on them

No not really. She gets nippy if they start getting on top of her but otherwise she just looks at them and makes sure they don't get out of place. she chases and nips once in a while. For today. But they duck into the plants and there safe. But I am worried about feeding arrangements.

You might have to keep a close eye out for any more agression, females need to be kept in a group of 5 and no less, or else the might be some agression. If there is too much nipping you might have to get some more females and a larger tank.

Hope and Chance fine with each other. I put them in a cup together with no probs(for a few minutes not like living together) but I could take Penny out but I don't want to do that because she wont have Carmel and even if I put her next to Carmel You Beta would try to get her attention and then Carmel and You Beta would be all over Penny which would make Penny very very unhappy and then Royal would get mad because he would be flaring not getting Pennies attention. So that would pretty much start a chain reaction. lol plus I have no fish bowls for Penny. So I am going to see what happens

They're okay for now, no need to remove any of them, but if Penny constantly chases the others, or if she is very agressive, or might cause some damage then it's best to get some more females and a bigger tank.

no I don't think shes hurting the others. She is just nippy thats all
