My tank measures 3ft length 2 12 height 1ft width.

Is an Aqua-flow mini
0-50L
300 l/h
4 watt

powerfull enough?

Based on your info I would say it's more than adequate.

Dimensions 91 x 30 x 30cm/36" x 12" x 12
Surface area 0.27 sqm/2.91 sq ft/ inches sq in
Volume 85 l./19 gal. (22.45 US gal.)
Probable volume 77 l./17 gal. (20 US gal.)

Given the info you posted i think it's just under for that size tank. Ideally you want a filter with a capacity around 4x your tank. Your tank is about 85L, but the filter is recommended for up to 50L.

Might be ok if you stocked very lightly, but not for stocking at full capacity of your tank.

In your tank dimensions you wrote 2 12 for the height. Is this an error?

Yes ! error sorry!
my tank is 3ft length 1 1/2 height 1 width

Sorry Paula,
What are the dims in inches
36"x12"x12"
I always use a filter which is slightly under (not too far under) and I perform waterchanges on a weekly basis. Your filter should be sufficient for your needs provided the aformentioned is carried out.

Hi Big C its 36 x15 x12

thanks for all your help

Dimensions 91 x 30 x 38cm/36" x 12" x 15
Surface area 0.27 sqm/2.91 sq ft/ inches sq in
Volume 106 l./23 gal. (28 US gal.)
Probable volume 95 l./21 gal. (25 US gal.)

So you're really looking for something with about twice the throughput of that filter. Something like a Fluval 3+ if you're going for an internal filter. Try and get something that is rated for a tank around 100 litres.
