OK I go to the LFS to get some parasite tablets. I ask the lady about them and she points me to them and says 'instructions inside just take a look inside'. I open them up stick my finger in can't get the instructions out. She gets them out and says 1 per 40 litres. Then I buy them and walk out.
On the way back to the car I have a smoke .... and then hop in my car ... then open the bottle to have a look and a little puff of powder springs out when I remove the top layer of cotton wool. My drink is very nearby. I get a call so close them up, take off and talk on the way home (hands free). Drink my drink on the way home.
THEN when I get home I sit down read the instructions.....
DON"T touch the tablets without gloves.
DON"T drink, smoke or eat after touching them.
DON"T injest or inhale any powder.
USE gloves & dissolve the tablets in a disposable cup and then dispose of gloves & cup in newspaper.
Results could be very harmful and can have a cumulative effect .. and so on.
Instructions like this should be on the outside before you have to poke your finger in trying to get them out.
Anyway, now I am a bit concerned ... as I broke very rule in the instructions. Feel OK but you know I thought I would ask if anyone had problems with these medications.
They are Wardley Para-ex. (who by the way I am going to contact to ask them why if such a medication is so dangerous .. The instructions are on the inside therefore forcing you to break the first rule of not touching them
