Hi all,
This is my first post in a loooong time, as I've not kept fish myself since 2009 (most recently my betta, Captain Jack)! My fiance has been keeping a beautiful marine tank with some help from me, but I haven't had the space to keep my own for a while.
That has changed now
So I'm excitedly gathering together the things I need to get going with a new aquastart 320 with plans to home a lovely newbie betta once more! I will go to my fave LFS locally, who often have really beautiful selections, to pick my new boy when I'm ready.
The problem is, I think I got carried away on Sunday with my plans for a zen-like theme. I got some fine pale sand-like gravel (not actual sand), a pebble arch and some tall, large leafy silk plants. I also got this little low-level silk plant, but I'm worried about a rocky bit sticking out of it. I'm planning to bury the base in substrate as much as possible, but I've attached pics of the decoration.
What do you think? Is it too sharp for a betta's fins? I'm looking at it now and thinking it needs to go back.
Thanks a lot for any advice you can give
