I dont know where to exactly to post this. In my 10US tank I have three neon tetras and a blood fin tetra, and during the night after its been completly dark in my room where my tank is. Ill turn the hood light on to check on my fish, and the neons are gray. the neons have no blue and red coloring and my bloodfin has no red. But once the morning rolls around their fine, thier coloring is normal. Its been like this since I got my tetras.

It could just be the light makes it appear that way....not reflective or the light could cause the fish to stress and lose their colour

No its nothing to worry about, tetras loose most of their colour in the dark. Its camouflage I expect, harder for predators to see them. Just think of it as them in their pyjamas :) , when I first saw that I left the light on trying to find out what was wrong, frantic with test kits etc, after half an hour their colour begins to come back.
