Bought this fish from Pets At Home about 3 years ago and was labelled as a cichlid.

Picture was taken about 1.5 year ago when in my Biorb.

Had to move into a bigger tank as that was quickly out grown.

Fish is now nearly 4 years old, about 6-7 inches long and has a bump / pronounced forehead.

Is very aggressive towards other fish and therefore always kept on his own.

Can anyone confirm if it's a green terror ??

Was told by a local fish shop that it was a green terror.

Can others fishes be kept with the Geos as that appears to be the fish i have.

Depends on what size tank you have and what other fish you would like to keep.

Hey Mark, how would you like me to stuff you in a cube so small you couldnt turn around?

I know you had sometime after the pic was taken put it in a bigger tank, but man, you certainly took your time, poor fish!

Just after this picture was taken he was moved in to a 2 ft tank.

Have now got a 1M tank, which he will be moving in to in the next week.

I know ...but dude, you really should have done it sooner, look at that pic, that is sooo bad

A 1 metre tank won't be suitable long term as he will reach about 10". In that size tank, you couldn't really house anything with him.

the fish was in a biorb so its hard to see from the picture the actual size of tank.
The fish had enough room at the time!

We are only planning to keep the geo in the tank

Even if you only keep the Geo, the tank still isn't big enough as they need swimming space. A 10" fish in a 36" tank won't be happy, I'm afraid.

sorry, im still laughing at your comment 'the fish had enough room at the time' - dude you got it all wrong, its the wrong fish for that orb, and as stang says, your upgrade tank is no good either.

please read up on your fish's requirements before buying them - you would save them a whole lot of stress, its just plain cruel dude, try a dog or cat or something, think fish keeping isnt really for you

the new tank is 100 x 50 x 40cm

what size will it be too big to keep in there

when he has outgrown that one, who would possibly want it
