Is This A Gravid Spot?

As the title suggests...

Is this what a gravid spot is?

You can see it more clearly on her right side.

For the life of me, I have NO IDEA how people get such great pics of their fish. As soon as I pointed the camera...she darted off! Then finally she came back, but all my other fish were getting in the way

These photos are more clear, but now you can't see the dark patch?

I can definately see it on her when I look at her.

BTW my water is yellow because I'm treating for popeye.

I went to have another look, and suprise suprise...she stays there when I don't have the camera!

Anyway, she must have gone in the right sort of light and I could see black spots there! That's the babies eyes right?

OMG YAYYYYY!!!!


Ok, lets assume you COULD see the gravid spot....from my pics, how long do you think she has to go?

She still seems to be swimming around a bit, but towards the bottom mainly.

i think that is the gravidspot hehe. they both look pregnant to me LOL

she looks pretty far gone but it all depends on the amount she has she could be 2 weeks or even ready 2 drop look out for signs of her squaring off that usually gives a good indication
