Is this a good deal?

So I was looking at a local classifieds website for my boyfriend, as he will be needing some furniture quick & cheap soon. No luck w/ couches or tables, but I did find this

2 55g Aquariums, w/ hoods, Magnum 350 Canister filter, ugf's, powerheads, heaters, a rena 400 air pump, test kits, chemicals, and "some fish", and also a hand made stand, which is a little shabby looking but would work & I was thinking I could cover it w/ plywood or something.

All for $200 u.s.

Is this a good deal? Or about average for used goods? Should I check it out?

On the same note i was looking in MY local classifeds and saw there was a brand new 55 gallon tank with filter (not sure which one im calling him later), a heater, and gravel with a very nice hood, lighting, and stand (saw a picture of it online), all for $300 but ill probably be able to get that down a little

My 55 gallon and supplies (all new at the time) Cost a bit over that, so I'd say it's a great deal

I just spent almost $150 on everything for my new 10gal tank! If I had the opportunity to spend $50 more and get a 55gal, I would have jumped at it

totally. im getting a 75 gal w/wet dry and stand for 150. 2 55g is awesome, unless they suck, like theyre all leaky or something.
