Is This A Good Deal ?

Went online to have a look for custom built tanks found a nice wee site called acaquatics . Has anyone ever used them before ?

This was the quote the gave me for the tank

Bare Aquarium 48" x 36" x 24" cabinet and hood £296
Lights £40
Fluval fx5 filter £155
2 x heaters £36
Delivery £80

They didn't state what W the heaters were but i'm assuming it would be 2x300 W

Basically what i want to know is it worth all that money or would it be easier just to buy the tank and buy heaters etc separate ?

Also would my eheim 2226 be big enough for this tank or would i have to buy a different filter

nope lol 36" wide 24" high could do it other way about would still be the same volume of water i think lol

wasnt saying for volume of water of course it would be the same amount if done the other round was double checking if it was 3 foot high or not but will shut up now i guess lol

Having a look online the people e-mailed me back saying they had miscalculated and its £877 for the tank alone ! So think i may be giving it a miss ! lol

I just want rid of the corner tank get a really distorted view now livingrooms been redecorated and can't see the full tank unless ya stand right in front of it want to be able to see it ALL from my seat on the couch lol

my tank was £80 off ebay -(thei bought teh filter etc..)

but thats came with a stand and its almost 200 liters lol

try ebay tbh get acheaper deal...

i got a 37 gallon from lfs for £70/80 , not terribly expensive , filter was £75 , heater £20 condensation trays were like £5 each (needed two to cover 4') works out around £200 for it all brand new , although i didnt need a lid as i have lights which attach to the side of the tank and overhang.

877 just for tank is a rip off got to www.ndaquatics.com i got my 48x24x24 tank with cabinet including delivery for 438 and the build quality is absolutely second to none . delivery is prompt too and its delivered not by some careless courier but in operson by the fella that makes them . 1st rate tanks and 1st rate service

i would deffo use them again

you can choose from lots of different colurs finishes and styles for the cabinet have a background floated onto the rear panel of glass
and can have either clear silicone or the black silicone which i went for and looks really cool . give their site a look.

if you dont want to just take my word for it speak to a member on here called mark7616 usually most active in the members pictures section. he put me onto the and he has had a huge tank built in his house by them and he will say the same about them great quality value and service .
