I found this really cool tank for $500 in total. The tank had 2 lids (meaning if i want i can use half of it as an hospital tank, or quatintine tank) and the stand was gorgeous. The tank comes with 2 light/lids, the tank, the stand, and an in-built area for the filter. The tank dimesions are 48L" x 18W" x 30"D
The height gets bigger as the front of the tank is like a convex glass. It curves so the width increase as you get to the middle.
Is it worth it?

Sounds nice, what's $500? About £280? I'd pay that for a nice second hand tank. Paid over £300 for my tank but that came with a lot of extras.

Value of these things can differ place by place depending on what's available to you and the demand for it.

:)

What currency you speaking about I'd pick it up it sounds pretty good but it is all up to if you want to buy it and if you like it.

So a bowfront tank with stand for $500, that's about 110 US gallons? I'd get it :) If you want it, you'll get it.

Thats actually only around 80 gallons wendy. I agree though, that is a decent deal. Just a bit of clarification though. You said it had an "in-built area for the filter," are you by chance talking about an overflow box? Another question, is there a divider down the middle of the tank from top to bottom to seperate it into 2 completely seperate water tight compartments? If not the you can't use the 2 sides for 2 different uses.

^^^ Hmmm, is it 48X18X22 or 48X18X30? Either way, I would like it.

Nevermind, I read that it has a peaked curve to it. So it's somewhere between 80 to 110 gallons. Personally, I'm not a fan of divided tanks, but that should be able to be removed if you want.
