I have a guppy that came from my other guppys first drop of fry and it has a jagged tail, the tail looks just like a ct bettas tail....i was wondering if there is such thing as a crowntail guppy, or if anyone knows what kind of guppy this is. Thanks in advance!

ive never herd of one before. maybe its a ribbon guppy? Or the fins can be shredded. That happens sometimes.

yeah it probaly has a riped tail. dont worrie if it is ripped it will heal.

But he was born with his tail like that....and its been like that for about 3 months...so i dont think its ripped

I had a batch with about 4 males like that - I sold all but one, and he's always had a crowny tail. Weird, huh? I don't really have any info to add - oh, mine's about 6 or 7 months old and has been like that ever since he was little.
