is there any such thing as a kind of algea eater i can put in my fry tank to keep the glass clean

50 litres and has fry in it and id really like to keep them if you know what i mean

would a Chinese Algae Eater be ok or would it eat my fry

why don't you use a algae magnet to clean the glass.

I hadplec in one of my tanks and they ate some of my tiney fish. Maybe i was just unlucky

Not sure about stocking levels or minimum tank size but the general advice is 3 ottos a rubbernose pleco or a siamese algae eater. Take a look at the algae eater pinned topic in chit chat that should help you out. Let me know if you can't find it i'll post a link

A CAE would be OK but only when it is very young - otherwise you risk it eating your fry.
