Is there any hope for a betta to survive at constant temperatures of say...30 degrees F for about three days? What would happen to the fish.

No this is not the preface to an act of animal cruelty so not "don't do that" post please. It's too late now.

I highly doubt it because 32F degrees is freezing point for water. So being that betttas need water their home would more then likely be frozen including them. Unless there is some type of heater in there or warm water being added there is really no chance for the betta to live i would think. So more then likely in being the that cold the fish would have died, it's almost like the freezing water, to euthanize a fish (as example).

thats the perfect temp for a betta lol.

30f... not c...

Very unlikely to survive- it could be possible as I believe there's a sort of hibernation mode, but not for temps that low...

Oh no :( . When I got home from vacation my house was freezing and my fish weren't moving. I assumed they were dead and their bodies are gone but... what if they were just hybernating  .
