Is She Lonely?

I had to remove the male golden gourami from the tank as the female was being bullied constantly.

Thinking now she would be pleased hes gone all she does now is swim constantly along the front of the glass its driving me potty . Its like a lion pacing its cage lol.

Is she lonely now? I cant risk getting another male . Would another female work?
Or will she calm down and settle with the other tank mates.

Aww thats really cute but she's probably just bored without any other buddies lol! Couldn't you get more females and then put the male back? Isn't it advised that you have three females 4 every male? Male live breeders constantly hassle the females to mate which can stress the ladies out! I had the same problem in the past...I swear the stress of being chased round the tank all day shortens their life span. If you get more females for every male then they will all get pestered less. Anyway see how it goes and good luck!
