my roomate and i are waiting expectantly for her white balloon molly to drop more fry!! she only had two yesterday and she's still huge!! she was in a tank of 84ºF and now she's in one that is like 78ºF... still nothing.... we gave her lettuce to make sure she's not constipated, which i don't think she was to begin with. could she be holding them back? she's all alone in her own private 5 gallon now so i don't see why she would! i guess i'm just worried she might kill herself by holding them in like my guppy did i just feel we've tried everything and she looks like one is going to come out, and then it doesn't *sigh* i hate waiting!!
hi,
did you move her when shed had the other 2 fry?,
she could be stressed by the move and new tank, she may hold them back, theres not much you can do try leaving any lights in her tank off and give her hiding places and plants. hope it all works out Donna
FINALLY!! this morning i woke up and her spot was gone and i found at least 6 babies which i moved to a breeder trap for now while we rearrange our tanks and figure out which one they'll go in. so far there was 2 white, and the rest are part black and white/yellow. can't wait to find out who the father is =o)
