Is Polly Pregnant? Please Help!

I recently got a molly fish... I'm not sure if it's any specific kind of molly fish (she was just sooo cute!) But now her belly is getting so fat. It's like half a circle hanging down, not fat all over. I don't know if I am feeding her too much or not (she poops all the time). She has black there too. If she is pregnant it would have happened at the fish store not here. Please help!!

Hello, and welcome to the forums. Well, from the sounds of it, she will give birth in your tank soon, so get ready for some little babies! Read some of the stickies to help you out, because I don't think I can since I have no experience in the matter. I think you should try not to stress her out too much for now, and watch her closely for a while until the fry come. Also, mollies don't eat their young as much as other livebearers do, so you won't have to worry about that. Anyways, wait and see if any wiser fishkeepers can guide you through this better. Yes! Thanks for the pic she is a balloon mollie! I know she's supposed to look fat she's been getting alot bigger just there. And the black spots were what made me wonder. Still not completely sure, I guess time will tell.
