please let me know asap as i really want to use the bigger tank!

also is a interpet pf1 ok for the new larger tank?

So long as the length/width doesnt hang over the sides of the stand, then it should be fine to use.

you need a surface area equal to that of the base of the tank to distribute the weight evenly :)

oh right well thats a gd thing then! the size of the bottom is the same, its just taller :)

ive had a 620T and to be blunt, i wouldnt be even slighty tempted to put it on a stand like that, the empty 620T is very heavy let alone with water and gravel etc in, you deffo need something more sturdy than that, sorry

i don't know know after reading shelagh's post :S

Its extremely heavy, and it could fall :S

i am saying nothing at all now ^^

agree with Shelagh.

130 litres is the water only - and thats gonna add up to 130kg which is basically well built 7ft man!

Id want something a little more substantial. And remember its going on carpet - so would wobble if unstable. Sorry.
