Is My Platys Bum Normal?

I am wondering if my Platys anus is ok. There is a 'spot' between their bottom fins, their poo has been white and I treated them for worms / parasites. However the treatment is over and their anus still looks 'odd'.

So can anyone tell me if this is normal?

I am fairly certain that this is quite normal. I have seen many Platies like this but as I have never really had to treat any of my livebearers for internal parasites, you should probably ask Wilder in the emergency section just to be sure.

shes not ready to drop, not fat enough. its totally normal mate, mine have always been like that.

there is a diffrence between the borthing tube opening and the white dot
When a livebearer is ready to drop, the white dot displays like a dark ring aroun the inner edge (basically like a new hole appearing)

I think that what 5teady means here is that the white dot (anus) is always there but it changes in appearance (dark ring around the inner edge) when the fish is about to give birth.

Yes thats right, the white dot is normal so dont worry.

most of my platys have white butts and are very healthy and very normal , it looks weird lmao and your eyes are strangly drawn to it but hey lol
