My P.H is 7.2 but I read on a different topic and saw samUK say they like a P.H of 8. So is my P.H. ok because the angels seem to be acting just fine and the lps said it was fine.

I thought angels liked a pH of 6.5 to 7.5? In which your pH is good. Mine is at 6.8 and they seem ok. Thing is, most fish can tolerate many pH's, just not huge swings in pH.

Well I know that. I saw on another topic on here in the new world cichlid section you said cichlids like ph of 8. Did I not read all of what you said or what when you said that?

Most African cichlids like the higher pH, most new worlds like it lower. Angels do like a lower pH, in the 6.5 to 6.8 range, but acclimate fine to higher pH. Mine is 7.6 to 7.8, depending on the season. The worst thing you can do is try to change the pH of tap water with chemicals, unless you have extremely soft tap water.
