I'm new to the forums and fairly new to tropical fishkeeping - please be gentle!!

I have 2 female Dalmation Mollys which have been in the tank around 6 weeks and a Male White Sailfin Molly which has been in the tank around 4 weeks, over the last week i have noticed that one of the female Mollys has grown a big belly but the other one is still about the same size (and shape). The male Molly keeps following the big one around and seems to be keeping his nose up to her anal fin as if he is sniffing her!
I have been keeping an eye on her and she seems to be bigger sometimes than others but when she is having some big time her belly looks huge.
I went into my fish supplier to ask their advice and they said if she is off her food or doesn't seem herself then it could be an internal bacteria infection, if not she is probably pregnant. She is eating as much as normal and she is quite happily swimming around like she normaly does. I have bought a breeding tank on recommendation from the fish shop just in case!

Any advice because i don't know what to do and what is best for her.

Thanks

If she is pregnant she will more than likely go off her food just before she gives birth, you may find that just before birthing her poo will change slightly, more like a reddy colour and maybe a lil watery

Good description of my molly or good description of how her poo might be?!!!

Actually, i was talking about guppy lord's good desription of pre-birth! Sorry! Do you have any babies yet?
