ok here are a few pictures i took of my swordfish, and i need to know when, on average she will give birth to fry as i bought a guppy breeder tank thing and i will put her in there to give birth to those fry. this is the only way i can take care of my fry as i have no other tank, and i need to keep them in a confined space to take care of them and feed them 4 times a day. does anyone know based on these pics when she will give birth:
sorry about the poor quality

btw the fish looks bigger than the photos show

does anyone maybe have a picture of a pregnant swordtail so i can compare....this would be greatly appreciated
thanks

She dose not look that fat for a sword.

A gravid spot dose not indicate that she's close to giving birth. as live bearers have this almost all of the time.

Your soon lurn how large they get (nothing like guppies or mollies) but a good swelling is a good sign, i would say she is pregnant but 7-10 days away form seeing babies, however that is a guess as every fish is different

Don't swordtails get way to big for a 60l? I thought they could grow up to 5 inches.

Males get torrential. this would be the only option to think of. 1 males and a few females/fry will be fine
