 I have 3 male guppies. Please don't tell me to get any females, because I don't want any babies. The lady at the lfs told me that males would do fine together. They were, up until recently. One of my male guppies keeps trying to have sex with the other two. He's driving them crazy! Is this normal? Should I take him out? He's very beautiful so I really hate to take him out. Is there anything I can do about this?

How big is the tank, as you could get some female platy's as they won't breed with them, some lfs won't always keep the male platy's with the females so you might be able to buy some that are not pregnant.

I'm not sure if you're answering my question. Is my guppy the only guppy that does this? I don't think getting female platys is the answer.

yeah your guppies normal. there mate with anything, I had one try it on with a apple snail.

don't worry, about him. If he upsetting the over males, and there anothe room get some more fish, like tetra school. Should divert his attention from the over abit. but I can't garente that.

Yes, it's nothing to worry about. They're just mating machines and if there's no girlies about, they'll exercise their muscle some other way.

I've got a tank full of girls, with just a few boys and one of my boys still tries it on with the other boys every once in a while.

I'd only worry if they start nipping each others tails, but with just 3 in a tank that shouldn't be a problem.
