hi all

bit of a newbie on here to be honest. i was looking at my tank earlier and saw that one of my gourami looks either pregnant of obese. its not the best picture but ive attached it so you can see for yourselfs

if it is pregnant what do i do next!!!

it just looks fat tbh
i had a dwarf that munched his way through evrythin until he look as if he had his own gravitational pull lol
how much do you feed it
are you sure its a female

if it is pregnant remove all other agressive fish gouramis can be teritorial but im not to sure with breeding
the male will build a bubble nest (looks like foam on the surface)

dont feed it that much to be honest. frozen tablet couple of times a week and then just flake food once a day ( got told this was right as i have live plants in there that if they get hunry they can nibble on) if thats wrong i will re adjust. not sure if its female cant see any defining features

It's a male - not pregnant, but bloated. How old is the fish, and is it acting in any way differently or more listless than usual? Looks very much like the beginning of dropsy/dwarf gourami disease.

acting just like normal. had the fish from fish store for about 2-3 months and i dont like the sound of that disease. is there any steps i can take to help?
