Well, i need your help as you can guess.
Usually before the main lights go out on my tank, i turn on the blues to reduce stress and shock of plunging my fish into darkness. Today however, i forgot to turn on the blues and as my lights went out, my wrasse jumped out of the tank!! I heard it splash then fall onto the side. I quickly put it back into the tank ( after about 4-5 seconds). The fall was about 2ft.
So what are the chances my fish will die from the stress of the fall and not make it through he night?

It's about 50/50 really. Depends on how strong the fish is... just hope for the best. Make sure you cover that tank!

Agreed, prolly will survive, especially if he was healthy before he jumped...

Well the fish did make it through the night thankfully. IHe was healthy beofre he jumped too so i guess that helps. Hes been eating today so i guess he will be fine, im still gogint o keepl an eye on him.
The tank is coverd but where the return pump pipes goes into the tank there was about a 10cm gap and he got throught that. I have moved thigs around now though so the gap is alot smaller, too small for the fish to jump out of. And i also have the lights on timers too, i just need to check tonight that they come on and off at the right times.
