I have a long finned black tetra and his/her stomach is bloated and I've fast them for 2 days and have cut down on how much I fed them but his/her stomach is still bloated is it pregant or constipated?
Why would it have anything to do with a swim bladder desease? Swimbladder disorders have no physical appearance but only in the fish's movements i.e loss of control over balance in water.
Female tetras carry eggs on a regular basis which makes them rounder/fatter looking than the males, although with the current info to go on it would be much better if you could get a pic of your tetra.
If she was constipated her stomache would have receeded by now a bit at least after 2days of fasting so i don't think she is constipated if she's still the same.
